LandLens ("we," "our," or "us") operates the LandLens mobile application and the website at landlens.app (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Account information: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider. If you use the app without signing in, an anonymous account is created automatically with no personal identifiers.
Photos you choose to attach to projects (uploaded to secure cloud storage)
Feedback and support requests submitted through the app or website
Newsletter subscription email address (optional)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Location data: GPS coordinates used for land measurement features. Your projects (including GPS points) are synced to our cloud servers so you can access them across devices. Location is only accessed while the app is in use, or during an active GPS recording session in the foreground.
Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
Usage analytics: Anonymous usage patterns to improve the app experience (via Google Analytics).
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

4. Data Storage and Security
Your projects, measurements, and photos are stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud database (Firestore), and file storage. Your projects, photos, and account identity are stored on Firebase infrastructure. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). 8. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
