What Is Reverse Geocoding?
Reverse geocoding is the process of converting a pair of GPS coordinates — latitude and longitude — into a human-readable address or place name. It is the exact opposite of forward geocoding (address to lat long).
This tool uses the Photon reverse geocoding API, powered by OpenStreetMap data and covering billions of addresses worldwide. Results are returned instantly, with no API key or account required.
